The S-Check app helps a person understand the impact of meth on different aspects of their health and wellbeing.
Developed by the Stimulant Treatment Program at St Vincent's Hospital, the app has been clinically trialled and uses clinical assessments and questionnaires.
The app assists individuals in tracking their meth use and monitoring its effects on their health and well-being. It also provides helpful tips and support for addressing any challenges the user may be facing.
App users can check in as often as they like, or set reminders to build a picture of their use over time. Self-assessments included as part of the app are:
- Psychological wellbeing
- Physical health
- Social wellbeing
- Sexual health
- Thinking and cognition
The app will provide tailored suggestions for resources and further support.
