This booklet tells the story of a pregnant young Aboriginal woman who learns about the harms of alcohol consumption in pregnancy and the potential impact of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) on a child and their family.
This 16 page A5 size graphic booklet also promotes the availability of professional services to support women in not drinking alcohol during pregnancy and the role family and friends play in supporting a pregnant woman.
Designed for Aboriginal women who are pregnant or have a new bub, and their partners, mates and family, the story booklet is useful for health workers talking through alcohol issues during pregnancy with clients.
