This booklet summarises what we know about the effects of cannabis on health and well-being. It is designed to cover a wide range of cannabis-related topics for the information of parents. Topics covered include: cannabis potency, effects of cannabis on the body, mental health, brain and lungs, risks to young people from cannabis use including pregnancy, driving and the law.

NCPIC’s ‘What’s the Deal?’ series aim to give relevant information on cannabis to different target groups, including parents, young people and cannabis users wanting to quit cannabis. They provide information in a conversational tone and are designed to be handed out to clients or put in brochure display racks. .
