​The NSW Ministry of Health, drawing on national and NSW data sources has developed an updated surveillance report on opioid use and related harms in NSW.

This report replaces the Opioid Use and Related Harms in NSW – Surveillance Report to December 2019. This version includes the previously reported historical data with updated longitudinal data trends and enhanced reporting of heroin seizures, emergency department presentations, forensic toxicology detections and treatment episodes.
